Smoked Tofu (Bangalore)

To be able to find something we have almost daily back home here in Bangalore and so much close to authentic taste is such a joy. Thank you and looking forward to have more. One small suggestion to the smoked tofu is add a bit of salty taste would make it more tasty.

This is my all-time fav tofu! The flavour is intense and smoky and the texture is firm.
It's so good that it tastes lovely even when eaten straight from the package.
Most times I chop it up and add it to my plate as the main source of protein. I'm a nutritionist and highly recommend it since it has a good calorie-to-protein ratio and tastes good. I always look forward to eating it whenever I'm in India!

I have memories of eating smoked tofu while I lived in Europe and loved its umami-ness & distinctive taste. It felt so amazing to be able to enjoy it again. You can eat it as a high-protein snack just on its own. I also tried the curd and the plain tofu which were great. I highly recommend it!

I am giving it only three stars. The smoky flavour is very good, but, in the process of smoking the tofu strips have been rendered very tough in texture and feel.
